Blanche Irma McClun was born on 15 January 1892 in Bennet, Lancaster, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Oscar McClun and Emma Osburn.
8-year-old Blanche lived with her parents, three siblings, and grandfather in Nemaha, Lancaster, Nebraska at the 1900 Census. Blanche's father worked as a farmer to support the family:[1]

Blanche passed away on 12 March 1935 in Nebraska at the age of 42. She is buried at Highland Cemetery in Adams, Nebraska. Her headstone indicates that she was a teacher.[6]
