Biography

Donald Reed McClure was the father of the television actor Doug McClure.

Donald was born 3 March 1904 at Ingram, Pennsylvania,^[1] the son of George McClure and Hannah Irwin.^[2]

On 23 Jul 1927 he was married to Clara Elsie Barker in Brooke, West Virginia.^[3] They were the parents of two sons, Donald Jr. and Douglas.

Donald McClure died 2 December 1965 in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 61.^[4]
