"George Washington attended OU and earned a degree in languages. He later received a Masters Degree from UCLA. He had worked his way through college himself by doing odd jobs. He tried to enter the service like his brother Oliver Glenn, during WWII but he was rejected because of a heart condition. He was also turned down by the State Dept. where he wanted to be an interpreter, so he taught at a Junior College in Laguna Beach CA until his death in 1947 at the age of 29. He died in Whittier CA and was buried at the Rose Hills Cem."[1]
