Biography

Benjamin was born in 1888. He married Cary Lee Goodson and they raised their family in Fort Worth, Texas. His wife passed in 1938. He passed away in 1940.

His son, George McCrumby, was a Tuskegee airman who went missing in action while on a mission over the Mediterranean Sea. His name is engraved on the Tablets of the Missing at Sicily-Rome American Cemetery. His remains have never been recovered.
