Maisie Loretta McDonald (married name O'Donoghue) was born in 1903 in Creswick, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Margaret (Dwyer) McDonald and Peter John McDonald.^{[citation needed]}

She married James Thomas O'Donoghue on 8 January 1927 at Sacred Heart Church in Preston, Victoria.^[1] Their children were:^{[citation needed]}

• Kevin O'Donoghue (1920s–?)
• Vincent O'Donoghue (1930–1999)

Maisie died on 11 May 1950 at 107 Bent Street in Northcote, Victoria.^[2] Cause of death was a cerebral haemorrhage exacerbated by hypertension.

Her remains was buried on 12 May 1950 at Falkner Cemetery.
