Janet, daughter of John Mc Dougall Catharine Mc Donald, was born or baptised on 15 April 1796 in Fortingall, Perthshire, Scotland.^[1]

Janet married Malcolm Mc Martin on or after 22 May 1817 in Fortingall, Perthshire, Scotland.^[2]

The couple must have gone to Canada soon after thier marriage as a son John was born there in 1819.

Jannet was mentioned on a memorial in Wolford Rural Cemetery, Jasper, Leeds and Grenville United Counties, Ontario, Canada with a death date of 25 June 1849.^[3]
