"I was born in KCMO [Kansas City, Missouri] on 11-8-25. My dad Wiley Crane McEwen was born in Garnett, KS [Kansas] in 1899. He had no brothers or sisters.
My grandfather Thomas Albert McEwen lived 1869-1942. But I don't know where he was born. He had three brothers and a sister.
My great grandfather James Henry McEwen was born in Pennsylvania in 1841 and died in Kansas City in 1942.
My brother Conrad Winsall McEwen-2532 was born in Davenport, Iowa and my sister Annette Louise McEwen-650 was born in Kansas City in 1927.
I was in the Army Air Force during WWII and graduated from the U of Kansas in 1948.
Spent 32 years of my working life with Ford motor Co. I've been retired since 1988 and am enjoying every minute of it. My wife Ducky and I spend the winter in Northern Michigan skiing and the summers golfing and flying our sailplane.
We moved here to Grand Blanc from Bloomfield Hills last August." [1]
He married and had a son. Wiley Crane McEwen who lived all of his life in Kansas City.
He passed away in 1942.
