Biography

Thomas S. McGee was born on January 13, 1820 in Franklin, Missouri Territory.

Thomas (22) married Martha North Decker (20) (born in March, 1821 in Cooper, Missouri Territory) on February 8, 1842 in Franklin.^[1] Their son was William Thomas McGee (1848–1932).

In 1850, Thomas (30) was living in District 31, Franklin with his wife, Martha McGehee (28); their children, William T McGehee (3), and William McGehee (23); and Tomas S McGehee (30), John McGehee (6), Mary F McGehee (0), Joseph McGehee (22), and Eliza McGehee (16). ^[2]

In 1860, Thomas (40) was living in Boles, Franklin with his wife, Martha M (38); their son, Wm (13); and Thos S McGee (40), John McGee (16), Mary McGee (10), Missouri A McGee (11), Chas H McGee (8), and Henry Siffer (30). ^[3]
