John David McKie, priest: born Melbourne, Australia 14 May 1909; ordained deacon 1932, priest 1934; Assistant Chaplain, Melbourne Church of England Grammar School 1932-33; Chaplain and Lecturer, Trinity College, Melbourne 1936-39; Vicar, Christ Church, South Yarra 1944-46; Coadjutor, Bishop of Melbourne (with title of Bishop of Geelong) and Archdeacon of Melbourne 1946-60; Assistant Bishop, Diocese of Coventry 1960-80; Vicar of Great and Little Packington 1966-80; married 1952 Mary Goodwin (four daughters); died Mornington, Australia 30 March 1994.
