Biography

• When Jennie Mae McLachlan was born on July 1, 1892, in Fort Lupton, Colorado, her father, James Malcom, was 27 and her mother, Margaret (Peters) McLachlan, was 16. She married Melbourne Ford Leach and they had one son together Elmer Fred. After Melbourne's death she married Thomas G. Hodges on October 23, 1958. Jennie was a loving wife, mother, homemaker and friend to whom ever needed or wanted one. She died on October 3, 1963, in Inyo County, California, at the age of 71. and buried with her first Husband Melbourne at Hillside Cemetery in Fort Lupton, Colorado.
