Biography
Isabella was born in Argyleshire, Scotland, the daughter of John McLarty (abt. 1819-?) and Agnes Curry (abt. 1821-?). [1]
She arrived in Port Phillip, aged 2, with her parents and sibling, John, on 15 October 1848, on the Ship 'Blondi.' [2]
In 1866 in Victoria, she married [[Kelly-9260|Frederick Kelly (abt.1845-1925). [3]
They had 5 or more children:—
- Ellen (1873-abt.1964)
- George (abt.1877-1970)
- Phillip (1885-1932)
- May Isabella (1887-1896)
- Agnes Catherine (abt.1889-1912)
Isabella passed away in 1925, aged 79. [1]
- Death. 1925. [4]
- KELLY.—On the 24th July at Nurse Russell's private hospital, Korumburra, Isabella, beloved wife of Frederick Kelly, late of Strzlecki, aged 79 years.
- At rest.
She was buried on 28 July 1925, in Korumburra Cemetery.
Frederick died later the same year.
