Biography
Ralph was born on December 10, 1911 in Kanawha County, West Virginia to Thadius and Mary Short McVey. He was the middle child with an older and a younger brother.
Ralph served in WWII. It is not known when, but he married Ethelyn Jarrell. It is not known if the couple had any children. Ralph worked as a coal miner.
Ralph passed away on April 3, 1951 in Dorothy, West Virginia. He died from a self-inflicted gunshot. He was 39 years old. He is buried in Lawson Cemetery in Raleigh County, West Virginia.
