Biography

Betty was born in 1941. She was the daughter of Russel McWhorter and Betty Durbin. She passed away in 2018.

She was a graduate of Washington High School. Then for over ten years, Betty worked at Mayview State Hospital. She enjoyed traveling, camping, swimming and going to the casino.

She married John Gontas, Sr. on December 10, 1960 in Washington, Pennsylvania. Their children were John Gontas Jr. and Betty Jo Gontas.

Betty passed away on 7 December 2018 in Washington, Pennsylvania followed with burial at the Washington Cemetery in Washington, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
