Biography
Amelia Mees was born in 1879 in St Helens. She was the daughter of Thomas Mees and Elizabeth (Coupe) Mees.
Amelia married Aloysius Holland on October 24th 1900 at St Mary Lowe House church in St Helens (Catholic).
In 1901, the couple were living in Wavertree, Liverpool; Aloysius was working as a house joiner. Sometime between 1907 and 1911, they moved back to St Helens, where they ran a pub together.
Aloysius died in 1945 in St Helens aged 68. He was buried April 7th in St Helens Cemetery. Amelia lived till 1961, and was buried in the same grave on April 4th 1861, aged 81.
