Mary was born on 16 July 1905 in Alexander City, Tallapoosa, Alabama, United States. She was the daughter of George W Meigs and Ella J Worthy.
In the 1910 census Mary (age 4) was living in Tallapoosa, Alabama, USA.[1]
In the 1920 census Mary (age 14) was living in Milltown, Chambers, Alabama, USA.[2]
When Mary was 20 she married Quenton Robert Tidwell on 1 May 1926 in Ashland, Clay, Alabama, United States. The couple had 4 children: George Harold Tidwell, Mildred Marie Tidwell, James Willard Tidwell and Gordon Vernon Tidwell.[3]
Mary died at the age of 76 on 5 September 1981 in Alexander City, Tallapoosa, Alabama, United States.[4]
