Biography
James was born in 1799 in Shelby county, Kentucky. He was the son of James Meriwether and Sarah Meriwether.
James married Mrs. Elizabeth Maxey (Taylor) Brown on 19 Dec 1830 in Floyd county, Indiana.[1] They had a large family.
They were in Ray, Morgan, Indiana in 1850.[2]
James passed away in 1856. He was buried in Samaria cemetery in Paragon, Morgan, Indiana.[3]
