Muriel D. Metcalf, the daughter of Roy Lamont Metcalf (1894-1966) and Mabel R. Blasdel (1898-1993), was born on 11 June 1926 in West Frankfort, Franklin County, Illinois.
It is not known at this time if Muriel had any siblings.
