Biography
Dwaine was born in 1935. He was the son of Merlin Mewhorter and Irene Courtney. He passed away in 2008.
He graduated from Rochester High School in 1953. He served in the Army. In 1957 he began working for IBM and retired in April 1990.
Marriage:
- He married Shirley Ann Barclay in 1955. Their children were Jeanne Marie (Mewhorter) Hanson (born in 1959), Daughter Mewhorter (1961–1961) and Vickie Mewhorter. Shirley died on Dec. 15, 1967.
- He married Nadine Jean "Sis" Blee on June 1, 1968. Their children were Dwaine Michael Mewhorter (born in 1969) and Patrick James Mewhorter (born in 1973).
Dwaine was a member of the Eagles Club. He enjoyed playing cards with his wife, cooking, and experimenting with new recipes.
Dwaine passed away on 15 March 2008 in Rochester, Olmsted, Minnesota followed with burial at the Saint Agnes Cemetery in Kellogg, Wabasha County, Minnesota,.
