Blythe James MILES was born on 5 June 1913 in Powlett River, Victoria, Australia[1]. His parents were Walter James MILES and Isabella AITKEN.
25 September 1943, Blythe enlisted in the Australian Army; Service Number: VX142776[2][3]. He was assigned to the 2nd Medium Regiment, attained the rank of Gunner and was discharged on 15 March 1946.
He passed away on 24 April 1988 in Wonthaggi, Victoria, Australia[4] and was buried at the Grantville Cemetery[5]
