Biography
When Emily Eudora Miles was born on April 4, 1861, her father, William, was 46, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 34. She married Joseph Monroe Whitehead on December 10, 1879, in Winston, Mississippi. They had ten children in 19 years. She died on June 1, 1942, in Maysville, Oklahoma, at the age of 81, and was buried there.
