Christina Miller, daughter of Charles Miller & Janet Miller, was born about 1834.[1][2]
Christina Miller married Hugh Fraser on 29 April 1862 at High Church, Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland.[1]
Christina's death (age 38) was registered in 1872 in the Tradeston district.[2]
She died in the Tradeston Flour Mills explosion. Cause of death is listed as: "Killed by gable wall of house falling in upon her. Body found in debris". As reported in the Glasgow Herald:
"The second body was not recovered until fully four hours afterwards, and was found on the first floor of the same house. It was not so much burned as the other, and death may have been caused by suffocation. The body was identified as that of Mrs Hugh Fraser, wife of a ship carpenter, from whom she had on the previous day received letter, dated from Genoa, containing good in-telligence. Deceased was 38 years of age."[3]
