Biography

"Mrs. Ada C Gorley, 75, died at her residence on Muskingum Ave. Dresden, last night.

The daughter of William & Matilda (Layton) Miller, she was born in Muskingum county on Dec 10, 1872 and had spent her entire life in this vicinity. She was a member of the Dresden Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, George Gorley; six children, Grover Crozier of Dresden, William Crozier of Zanesville, Mrs. Charles Forker of Akron, Mrs. Esther Stone of Phoenix AZ., Mrs. Ralph Poorman of Newcomerstown, and Mrs. Dewey Frame of Zanesville; a sister Mrs. Rebecca Underwood of Lona Lind CA., and several grandchildren & great grandchildren."^[1]
