Biography
Rose was born in 1782. She was the daughter of Jeremiah Milles.
Rose married Rowland Alston (b.1782), MP for Hertfordshire 1835-41, 2nd son of Thomas Alston (d.1823) of Odell Castle, Bedfordshire, nephew and heir of Sir Rowland Alston, 6th Baronet (d.1790).
Marriage Notice - Kentish Gazette June 1, 1810
- Saturday last, at Mary-le-bone church, Rowland, son of Thomas Alston, esq. of Odell Castle, in Bedfordshire, to Rose, daughter of the late Jeremiah Milles, esq. of Pishobury, in the county of Hertford.
She died in 1824.
Death Notice - Sun (London) February 23, 1824
- On Thursday, the 19th inst at Pishobury in the county of Hertford, the seat of her mother, Mrs. Milles, after a few hours of most severe suffering, Rose, wife of Rowland Alston, Esq., and daughter of the late Jeremiah Milles.
