Sarah Mink was born in 1860 in Alabama. She was the daughter of Elias Mink and Frances Permelia Clark. She was 3 months old according to the information in the 1860 U. S. Census.[1] When the 1870 U. S. Census was taken, Sarah was living with her parents and five siblings in Scottsville, Alabama.[2] She married Crofford F. Lawrence on 6 December 1877[3]
Find a Grave Memorial 75940873 shows Sarah died in 1879, however, the 1880 U.S. Census shows Sarah, age 18 and her husband living with her parents. More research is needed to find a correct death record.[5]
