Biography
James Alexander Minteer was born on July 15, 1857 in Illinois to William Young Minteer and Margaret (Wilson) Minteer.
He married Anna Jane Simkins.
Together they became the parents of Ethel Adelaide (Minteer) Bunnell, Gracie E. Minteer, Claude Clinton Minteer, and Myrtle Agnes (Minteer) Coulthard.
James passed away on Jan. 8, 1944 at Neligh, Antelope Co., Nebraska and was buried at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Neligh.
