Biography
Ida was born 10 November 1923 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Merton Mitchell and Elvira Auten. Her first husband was Howard Smith Cathey, and secondly she married A. C. Lassiter. She died in Mecklenburg County on 15 October 2010. Ida was buried with her first husband at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Mecklenburg County.
