James Dashiell, Somerset Co., 16th Feb., 1708-9; 14th Mch., 1708. To eld. son James and hrs., 550 A. in 3 patents, viz., 300 A., "Meches Wright," 200 A., "Meches Desert" and 50 A., "Wolf Trap Ridge," also dwelling plantation In event of his holding "Wolf Trap Ridge," he shall pay unto son Christopher and hrs. 1500 lbs. tobacco.
To sd. son Christopher, 237 A., "Anything" and personalty; he dying without issue, to pass to son Joseph.
To son George, 600 A., "Bewely; he to be in charge of son Christopher during minority.
To young. son Joseph, 170 A. in 2 tracts, "Fair Ridge" and "Hazard" at 18 yrs. He dying without issue, to revert to son Christopher afsd.
To eld. dau. Ann and hrs., personalty, including that which was her mother's. dau. Isabell, personalty—either of 2 last named dying without issue, survivor to inherit deceased's portion. young. dau. Mary and hrs., personalty.
Apprentice David Johnson to be set free.
To wife Isabell, extx., personal estate to be divided among child, born by her. Residue of estate to be divided among 7 child.; wife to educate sons Joseph and George. 12. 332.
By codicil added 14th Mch., 1708 testator bequeaths- to brothers George, Thomas and Robert and to young. dau. Mary, personal estate.
