Walter (22) married Diziah Palmer (22) (born in 1826 in Georgia, United States; daughter of William Palmer and Sarah Floyd) on February 9, 1849 in Walton, Georgia.[2] Their son was Jessee Warren Mitchell (1847–1923).
In 1850, Walter (28) was a married head of household and Miller in Baits, Cobb, Georgia.[1]
