Thomas was born about 1866 on the Waimea River, West Coast. He was the son of John Molloy and Jane Kinsella. [1]
On 7 January 1886 at the family farm "Clonmore", he felled a tree with an axe. The butt of the tree struck him in the head causing fatal injury. [1]
