Elizabeth was born in County Cork, Ireland in 1823. Daughter of William Molyneaux and Susan Murphy.
Elizabeth was transported as a convict in 1839 on board the Minerva II, sentenced to 7 years for stealing a piece of clothe at the age of 16.
Elizabeth married John Facey (Also a Convict) on the 2nd November, 1843, NSW Convict Application to Marry, in Glebe NSW, aged 20. Her name on the Application was Eliza Molyneaux.
Eliza received her Freedom Papers on the 4th July, 1846 aged 23.
Eliza was 49 when John Facey, Born 1817, died in 1867 at Glebe NSW.
In 1872 at the age of 49 she remarried George Hanna, at Glebe. [1] Her name on the Registration was Eliza Facey.
Eliza Hanna passed away at the age of 79 in Tenterfield, NSW on 18 April 1902. [2] Her father named as William. [3]
