Biography
Edwin married Sarah Rhodes on 23 July 1855 in Perth, Western Australia.[1]
He bought ten acres at Cockburn Sound in 1859. He was a farmer at Greenough 1863-72, and a tanner in Perth in 1873. He employed six Ticket of Leave men 1866-1868.[2]
- MOORE.—The Friends of Mrs. Sarah Moore, 360 Newcastle-street, Perth, are respectfully in-vited to follow the remains of her late dearly beloved husband, Edwin John (father of Mrs. G. T. P. Costello, Mrs. J. Sadlier, Perth, Mrs. T. McGregor (South Australia), Messrs. William J. A., Edwin H., and Thomas Moore, to the place of interment, the Wesleyan Cemetery, Karrakatta. The Fune-ral is appointed to leave her residence, 360 Newcastle-street, at 2.45 o'clock THIS (Thursday) AFTERNOON, per road.[3]
