Charles Mordaunt, son of Sir Robert Mordaunt Bt and his wife, Amy Southerton, was born about 1615. [1] [2] He was baptised at Little Massingham (Massingham Parva) on the 31st of July.[3] Charles was educated at Caius College,Cambridge. [2]
In or before 1638 Charles married Katherine Tollemache, [2]daughter of Sir Lionel Tollemache Bt and his wife, Elizabeth Stanhope[1]and succeeded his father as baronet on 23 August 1638. [2]
Charles died in London aged 33 on the 10th of July 1648 [2]and was buried at Massingham. [1]
