Biography

Marie E. Moriarty was born in Hartford, Connecticut in 1906. She was the daughter of Daniel Moriarty and Anne Finn. She married William Callahan.^[1]

Marie was a lifelong resident of Hartford. She was employed by the Chandler-Evans Co., West Hartford, for 22 years, retiring in 1970. She was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church, Hartford. Marie (Moriarty) Callahan, formerly of 149 Adelaide St., Hartford, widow of William L. Callahan, died Wednesday Sept. 13, 1978 at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. She leaves two sons, Robert J. Callahan Sr. of Hartford and John F. Callahan of Manchester; a brother, John P. Moriarty of Deerfield Beach, Florida; and 13 grandchildren. ^[2]
