Biography
Marie Léda Morin was born on 14 Oct 1879 in St-Georges, Beauce, the daughter of Pierre Morin, farmer, and Basilice Rodrigue. She was baptised the next day with Julien Gagnon and Philomine Morin standing as her godparents. Neither signed, while her father was absent[1].
On 14 Feb 1898 Achille Poulin, farmer, adult widower of Joséphine Poirier, married Marie Léda Morin, minor daughter of Pierre Morin, merchant, and Basilice Rodrigue, in St-Georges, Beauce. Dispensation was granted for 3rd or 4th degree consanguinity. Witnessed by the bride's father Pierre Morin, and the groom's brother-in-law Joseph Bureau. Signed by the groom and bride, both witnesses, as well as Joseph Mathieu(?), Marcellin Bureau, Emma Poulin, Délina Velleux, Vitaline Poulin, Véronique Poulin, and Joseph(?) Veulle(?)[2].
