Joseph Morley migrated from Ireland to USA.

Joseph Martin Morley was born in Ireland in February of 1860 to Martin and Ann Morley. He immigrated to the United States in 1878 [1].

He married Johanna Quinlisk in Gardner, Massachusetts on May 15th, 1888 and had several children with her including [2] [3]:

  • Lawrence
  • John
  • Joseph- who passed away at around 1 years old
  • Mary
  • William- who passed away at around 1 years old
  • Laura
  • Catherine
  • Alice- who passed away 4 months and 1 day after birth from meningitis caused by cholera [4].

Joseph was naturalized on February 16th, 1895 when the family lived on Union Street [5]. He worked for a chair company as a Bender for several decades [6]. The family also lived on Summer Street at this time [7].

Joseph passed away in Gardner at an unknown date and was buried in Saint Johns Cemetery [8].
