Edith (Morse) Powell was born in Gloucestershire, England.

Edith was born in Blakeney, Gloucestershire, England, in 1897.^[1] Her birth was registered in the fourth quarter in Westbury on Severn. She was the daughter of James Morse and Annis Wyman. She was enumerated in the 1901 census ^[2] as a four year old residing with her family in Awre. In 1911^[3] she was listed as a "Servant" in the household of James and Elizabeth Butler in Awre.

Edith married Ernest Powell in 1915.^[4] The marriage was registered in the third quarter in Westbury on Severn. It is unknown if the couple had children. Edith passed away in Lydney, Gloucestershire, in 1959.^[5]
