Biography
Loren Mosher was an American Psychiatrist, and a colleague of controversial and experimental British Psychiatrist, R. D. Laing. Dr. Mosher resigned from the APA over the undue influence and control over his profession by the pharmaceutical industry, After visitin'g Laing's Kingley Halll, In the 1970s, he founded in California the Soteria Project, a treatmen residence and approach that was non-coercive and didn't involve drugging patients to excess. He born in 1933, and he died in 2004.
