George was born in February 1910 in New Jersey. He is the son of Isaac Mount and Katherine ?. ^[1]

On 15 April 1910 he (age 2 mo.) was living in Highlands with father Isaac (56), mother Katherine (39), sister Tillie (16), and brothers Emmett (12), Harry (7), Bernard (5), and twin brother Robert (2 mo.). ^[1]
