Dionijs Jansz van Muijlwijck was born to Jan Matthijsz van Muijlwijck, and Dingena Dionijsdr. He was born in Blokland, as indicated in his marriage record, and he was born most likely around 1575.
Dionijs Jansz van Muijlwijck, from Blokland, married Geertruijdt Gheritsdr (the daughter of Gerard Jansz and Marieke Jansdr) on the 1st of January, 1600. This marriage was civil and not recorded in the church. [1]
As noted in the below Leenkamer, Dionijs Jansz married Adriaantje Gerardsdr, who was also a daughter of Gerard Jansz and Marieke Jansdr. However, Geertruijdt died in Hoornar in 1617[2], and they're listed as being married by 1602. So unless Adriaantjen and Geertruijdt are the same people, I'm not sure what's going on here.
Dionijs died in Slingeland. He is known (see the Leenkamer below) to have died before October of 1645.
Dionijs, or Nijs, is listed in the Leenkamer of the Hofstede Noordeloos, 1453-1666. He acquired half of the land that belonged to Pieter Cornelisz Timmerman. The land was split on the 10th of April, 1587, between the brothers Gerard and Pey Jansz. Each piece of land comprised about 2 morgens. See below for a description of the land. Dionys Jansz acquired the land that was inherited by Gerard Jansz on he 23rd of November, 1602. He was married to Gerard's daughter Adriaantje (see above for more info). After the death of Gerard in 1597, the land changed hands a few times, including Gerard's wife Marieke and Gerard's brother Pey. Jacob Jansz (Marieke's brother from Goudriaan) then acquired it in 15??(98 or 99) and sold 1 morgen of the land. Dionijs held the land until his death in 1645, and the land then went to his son Gerard. [3]
