Biography
In 1851 Margaret was living with her parents, siblings, and a visitor, Robert Merton, at the family's 45 acre farm in "Auchanarvas" (almost certainly a mistranscription of Achanarras) in Halkirk, Caithness.[1] She was attending school at this time.
