Zaphnath-Paaneah Musson was born in 1847 in Barrow Upon Soar, Leicestershire, England, United Kingdom. He was the son of Joseph Musson (a carrier, b Scraptoft, Leicestershire) and his wife, Eliza (nee Hickingbottom, b Sutton Bonington, Nottinghamshire). [1][2]

In 1851, Zaphnath-Paaneah and his parents were living in Church Lane, Barrow Upon Soar, Leicestershire, England, United Kingdom. [3][4]

In 1861, Joseph Musson (head, married, 50, a carrier, born in Scraptoft, Leicester) and his wife, Eliza Musson (38, born in Sutton Bonington, Nottinghamshire), son Zaphnath Paaneah Musson (14, born in Barrow upon Soar, Leicester), boarder John Musson (unmarried, 60, ag. labourer, born in Barrow upon Soar, Leicester) and John Dexter (unmarried, 70, ag. labourer, born in Barrow upon Soar, Leicester) were living in Church Lane, Barrow upon Soar, Leicestershire, England, United Kingdom. Zaphnath maried Elizabeth Swann, sometimes known as Bessie, in 1869 Q4 in Loughborough, Leicestershire. [6][7][8] He was named as a beneficiary in Elizabeth's father, George Swann's will. [9]

He was a lime kiln labourer in 1871. [10]

Later on he was a publican and in 1881 kept the Castle Inn, Baxter Gate, Loughborough. [11]

In 1891 and 1901 he was a bricklayer's labourer. [12][13]

He passed away age 61 years in 1908. [14]

Zaphnath-Paaneah Musson of 36 Paget Street, Loughborough was buried on July 17th 1908 at All Saints in Loughborough, Leicestershire, England, United Kingdom.
