Biography

Son of Sir Richard Nagle, Bart and his second wife, Mary Bridget Geoghegan.

1800 - Baptized in Bath, Sommerset, England on 15 August 1880. [1]

1813 - His father was created a baronet.

1827 - Succeeded his father as Second Baronet of Jamestown House and Donower Castle, County Westmeath upon his father's death.

Served as High Sheriff of Westmeath but was dismissed from the magistracy for presiding at an anti-tithe meeting.

Was Deputy-Lieutenant of Westmeath at the time of his death. [2]

1851 - The baronetcy was created in 1913, but as Richard died unmarried and without heirs, the baronetcy became extinct upon his death on 10 November 1851.

1852 - Will probated. [3]
