Biography

Rites for William J. Nath, 89, a former Lockport resident who died Tuesday in Lancaster, have been scheduled Friday morning, at 9:30 at the Zubrich Funeral Home and at 10 o'clock at St. Mary's on-the-Hill, Lancaster.

A glass worker most of his life, Mr. Nath left Lockport 52 years ago to settle in Lancaster. He was employed at the Mansfield Glass Company in Lockport and the Lancaster Glass Works in Lancaster.

Mr. Nath was married 62 years ago in Lancaster to Anna Backus whom he leaves along with a sister, Mrs. Emma Gross and a brother, Harry Nath, both of Lockport; also several nieces and nephews.
