Elizabeth was born in 1806.

George Gill and Elizabeth Nelson married on 11 August 1835 at Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.[1] Banns were read at Wentworth, Yorkshire on 25 June 1835[2]

Her husband was killed in the Lundhill Colliery Explosion on 9 February 1857
