Mary Nethersole, daughter of Vyncent, was baptised on 9 October 1594 in Womenswold, St Margaret, Kent, England.[1] She is the daughter of Vyncent Nethersole and Elizabeth Denne.
Mary Nethersole married Richard Austen on 20 June 1614 in Womenswould, Kent, England.[2]
On 2 Oct 1645 her husband Richard Austen yeoman of Ickham wrote his will, which was proved at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury on 17 November 1648. His will mentions: House & Lands named Bay in Ickham; his wife Mary Austen (executrix); his son Robert (<18y); his 5 daughters: Mary Austen & Anne Austen, Elizabeth wife of Michaell Terry, Margaret wife of Edmund Dale, Bennett wife of Alexander Devinsonn; houses & land in Littlebourne in the occupation of Michaell Denne; houses, lands, orchards & tenements in Ickham, Wickhambreaux & Preston; witnesses: Richard Culling, John Culling.[3]
Her husband Richard died in December 1647 and was buried on 22 December 1647 in Ickham, St John, Kent, England.[4]
