Biography

Mary Newman was born in Sussex in about 1750 (based on her age at death)

She married William Holland in Hellingly on 28 November 1769, it was noted in the register that William was from Bexhill parish. ^{[1] [2]}

William and Mary had the following known children:

1. Thomas Holland, baptised Bexhill 20 December 1770 ^[3]
2. William Holland, baptised Bexhill 18 January 1774 ^[4]
3. Stephen Holland, baptised Bexhill 3 May 1776 ^[5]
4. Ann Wise Holland, baptised Ninfield 15 September 1778 ^[6]
5. James Holland, baptised Ninfield 31 March 1783 ^[7]
6. Henry Holland, baptised Ninfield 12 November 1788 ^[8]

Mary died in Ninfield and was buried there on 19 October 1813, aged 63 ^[9]
