Biography
b. 8.8.1813 Halifax, Nova Scotia Capt of the 21st Regt Fusiliers. Died on board the barque Hashenny which was commanded by Capt Buckle (husband of Anne Nicolls, 2nd dau of Sir Jasper Nicolls) in the Straits of Malacca. He had been sent to sea for the benefit of his health. d. 12.8.1840

- "The Genealogical Tree of the Nicolls Family" compiled by "VIII/2" (Oliver Charles Crawley Nicolls) and published in 1933. One hundred copies were printed and then distributed to family members. The printed version was transcribed in 2002 to computer by Alistair Gordon, tree_family@hotmail.com), who inherited copy No.8, together with the contents of the booklet of Nicolls biographies also authored by Oliver C.C. Nicolls.
