Biography

Jacobus Nieuwenhuijs was born in 1807, baptized on September 1st in Huissen. His parents were Petrus Nieuwenhuijs (~1780 - ) and Johanna van Vleuten (~1773 - 1844).[1]

Jacobus married Dorothea Cornelissen (~1800 - ) on January 7, 1835 in Huissen.[2]

Up until 1841 he was registered as a worker (arbeider) and in the birth record of Petronella in 1841 as a tobacco planter (tabaksplanter) then off and to as worker/tobacco planter in the following birth records.

Jacobus died on February 20, 1875 in Huissen aged ~67.
