• He is the son of Nicolaus Nijs and Catharina de Muijser.

• His godparents are Egidius van Beloen and Elisabetha Nijs.

Family

• In 1696 he married Beatris Delvoij. ^[4]

• In 1717 after the death of Beatris Delvoij in 17xx he married Anna Dino. ^[5]
