Biography
Herman was born September 25, 1775. He married Nancy Sackett and they had a son, George. Nancy died in 1796. Herman married a second time to Sally Sackett, daughter of Asher Sackett, on August 10, 1797, and they had seven children together, Eliza, James, Henry, Mary Ann, Nancy, Clarissa, and Francis. He died in his hometown October 29, 1832.[1][2][3]
